On occasion of World Mental Health Day, observed on October 10, the Ministry of Health, in collaboration with the National Center for Public Health and Analyses and Information Services, introduced a new section titled Mental Health in the Health Library of the electronic patient record.
This section presents accessible and easy-to-understand information about most common mental disorders, anxiety and depression, their symptoms, available support options, and the importance of early recognition and treatment.
The aim is to raise public awareness and encourage care for mental well-being as an integral part of overall health.
This year’s theme for World Mental Health Day, set by the World Federation for Mental Health, is “Mental Health is a Universal Human Right: Access to Services in Disasters and Emergencies.”
The focus is on the need for support and timely care for people who have experienced disasters, wars, or other crisis situations, which often lead to serious emotional and psychological consequences.
We remind you that the Health Library module is available in National Health Information System and mobile app eZdrave.
It brings together verified information provided by Ministry of Health, partner institutions, and experts from various fields. Together, we continue to enrich content of the library so that it becomes an accessible and reliable source of up-to-date and useful health information for citizens.
